The Minister of National Defense Mr. Nikos Dendias inaugurated on Saturday, September 7, 2024, the Pavilion of the Ministry of National Defense at the 88th Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) and toured the exhibition areas of the pavilion where DEFEA is participating promoting its 2025 edition to be held on May 6th-8th.

The Minister of Defence accompanied by the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff General Dimitrios Houpis, the Secretary General of the Ministry of National Defense Mr. Antonios Oikonomou, Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Vice-General Georgios Kostidis, Hellenic Navy General Staff Chief Vice-Admiral Dimitrios-Eleftherios Kataras and Hellenic Airforce General Staff Chief Vice Admiral (I) Demosthenes Grigoriadis and General Director of General Directorate for Defence Investments and Armaments (GDDIA) Major General Ioannis Bouras.

The Pavilion of the Ministry of National Defense was visited by the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, the President of the Hellenic Parliament, Konstantinos Tasoulas, the Vice-President of the Parliament, Georgios Georgantas, Deputy Ministers of the Government, the Secretary General of the ND Parliamentary Group, Stavros Kalafatis and Members of Parliament.

DEFEA – Defence Exhibition Athens, was represented by Mr.Vassilis Barkas, Event Director, Mr. Stamatis Vrettos, Sales Director, and SEKPY (Hellenic Manufacturers of Defence Materiel Assocciation) by Mr. Anastasios Rozolis, President.
