On January 17th,2022, a meeting was held between the Hellenic Minister of National Defense, Mr. Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos, the Director of the Minister’s Office Mr. Athanasios Valaris, the Director of the Minister’s Military Office Mr. Athanasios Papakonstantinou, and the President of the Association of Hellenic Manufacturers of Defence Material (SEKPY) Mr Anastasios Rozolis, Organizing company ROTA SA President Mr. George Tsaousoglou and the Director of DEFEA Mr. Vassilis Barkas.

During the meeting the importance of DEFEA exhibition was discussed, for the wider region of the SE Mediterranean and for the Greek Defense Industry.

The common goals and the strategic pillars for an even more successful exhibition in 2023 were also set, so that DEFEA will once again be a reference point for the international defense industry and diplomacy.

DEFEA – Defence Exhibition Athens taking place from 9 to 11 of May 2023 in Athens, Greece is organized under the auspices and with the active collaboration of the Hellenic Ministry of National Defence/General Directorate of Defence Investments and Armaments (GDDIA), by ROTA Exhibitions and the Association of Hellenic Manufacturers of Defence Material (SEKPY).
